The Year 5 school day begins at 8:40am and ends at 3:15pm Monday – Friday.
Year 5 Staff welcome the children into classrooms each morning at 8:35am and at the end of each day, the teachers will dismiss the pupils from the KS2 playground.
Each morning, the children will have core subject lessons and foundation subjects in the afternoon.
Reading
Your child will be provided with a reading diary and two reading books for them to take home and share with parents/carers. Please listen to your child read every night and write a comment, the date, and sign it.
Homework
Homework will be given out every Thursday and returned and completed on Monday.
Our curriculum and home learning have been developed to support the children recover from time lost due to Covid-19. Your support in completing home learning tasks will hugely benefit your child.
