Morning Nursery begins at 8:45 am and ends at 11:30am

Afternoon Nursery begins at 12:30 pm and ends at 3:15pm

Our Nursery Day

We have a soft start to our nursery day, followed by a carpet session where we focus on Literacy or Mathematics. We also have daily Phonics and interventions which focus on developing the children’s Communication and Language knowledge and skills.

Our environment is set up, to enable the children to access all aspects of the Early Years curriculum through Adult Directed/Supported learning activities during free-flow time.

Our staff teach the children by providing challenging, playful opportunities across the prime and specific areas of learning. This allows them to foster the characteristics of effective early learning, which are:

Playing and Exploring – children investigate and participate in a range of experiences and are willing to ‘have a go’
Active Learning – children concentrate and build resilience (keep on trying) if they encounter difficulties and enjoy achievements
Creating and Thinking Critically – children have and develop their own ideas, make links between ideas, and develop strategies for doing things.
